This blog is designed to be interactive and informative.

Each month new content is added under the main headings above. I encourage you to post your own comments and discussion throughout the month and beyond.

The main focus of this blog is 'cinema' and 'fiction'; terms which I use to refer broadly to filmic and written fictional narrative, focusing primarily on film, tv, novels, and short stories.

There is an emphasis on going beyond the usual buzz topics in the study of cinema and fiction, as well as providing practically, scientifically, and philosophically informed content each month.

There is something for anyone who likes to read, watch, study, or make cinema and/or fiction.

Enjoy.
